Gold Coast History is Simply Situated

Heritage information received from the Gold Coast location shows that there was Indigenous Australian persons dwelling here for in the region of 23,000 years prior to the vicinity being occupied by Europeans. The place well known as Mermaid Beach was in fact amongst the initial locations of the Gold Coast Which where settled by Europeans. It came to be given its name after the explorer John Oxley whose vessel, known as The Mermaid, disembarked at this beach in 1823.
