Automate Your Follow-Up Systems

How important is a well thought-out system for following up with your prospects? It is absolutely essential. Most of the prospects that you speak with will either not be qualified, or they will not be ready for a network marketing business. In order to continually grow your business, the majority of your time should be spent talking to knew prospects (80% of your time should be spent prospecting, with all other business activities limited to the remaining 20%). So, how can you continue to add more and more qualified prospects to your pipeline and still manage to follow up with them all in the time you have available? Here are some tools that will help:

Social Media

These sites provide you with a tremendous opportunity to engage with a large number of people at the same time. They also make it possible to communicate with specific groups of people. For example, if you\’ve connected with a number of your Warm Market prospects on Facebook, you can post messages that are seen by only members of that group. You can also use tools like Hootsuite, to post messages across multiple social networking sites simultaneously and to schedule multiple updates at one time.

Auto-Responders

There are two great characteristics of auto-responders that make them stand out as powerful tools. First, you can create a series of messages that are sent out sequentially to your prospects according to your schedule. Regardless of when you put the prospect into the funnel, they will all get the same messages, in the same order, with the same duration of time between messages. So, you can create an email once for your prospects and reap the benefits over and over again.

The second feature that I like about auto-responders is that you can track the results of sending those messages. You can see how many of your prospects are opening your emails. And if you\’ve included any links in a message, you can see how many times that link was clicked. This gives you a tremendous opportunity to adjust your campaign over time and improve how it is being received by your target market.

Voicemail Broadcasting

This enables you to create one message that can be sent to all of the prospects that you have phone numbers for. The power of voice broadcasting is that it enables you to use your voice to share your energy and enthusiasm in the message. We\’ve all had the experience of the meaning of our words being lost in a message because the recipient could not hear our tone. This eliminates that challenge.

Video Email Broadcasts

This is another great tool. Like voice broadcasting, video email helps you to inject your personality into your messages. As the name suggests, it\’s a video recording of yourself sharing your message which is then sent to your prospects\’ email address. One key benefit is that video is generally more powerful than voice broadcasts alone. Also, you\’ll be able to use this as an opportunity to send your message to contacts that you have an email address but don\’t have phone numbers for. This is probably the next best thing to being able to speak to your prospects in person.

SOC

This is by far, my favorite tool. Through Send Out Cards, you\’re able to create campaigns of personalized greeting cards and post cards, including cards that contain digital voice recording, as well as a variety of gifts. This a powerful tool for developing realtionships and maintaining front-of-mind positioning with your prospects.

Now, it\’s important to note that there are laws pertaining to how both auto-responders and voice broadcasting is used. Make certain that you are always operating in accordance with your local laws. More importantly, you need to make sure that you are working according to the rules of good marketing.

Zig Ziglar said: \”You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.\” Success with any marketing tool is dependent on your ability to keep the wants and needs of the prospects in the front of your mind. Every contact with your prospect should be designed to improve upon your relationship and to provide them with value. Do this consistently and, when the time is right, they will do business with you.
